Son zamanlarda sosyal medya kullanım oranı hızla artmakta ve ergen bireyler sosyal medyada en fazla vakit geçiren kullanıcı kitlesi olarak göze çarpmaktadır. Ergenlerin sosyal medya kullanımları ile ilgili olumlu ve olumsuz görüşler bulunmaktadır. Alanyazındaki araştırma bulguları sosyal medya kullanımının, kullanım şekline göre tehdit veya fırsata dönüşebileceği yönündedir. Bu çalışmada sosyal medyanın ergenler üzerinde bıraktığı olumlu ve olumsuz etkiler anlatılarak bu konuda okullarda çalışan Sosyal Hizmet Uzmanlarının alabilecekleri önlemler ve yapabilecekleri uygulamalar sosyal hizmet bağlamında tartışılmıştır.

Women, who have attracted attention with their productive characteristics in each period with the history of humanity, appeared in the public space and were quickly involved in business life as a result of increasing labor demand along with the industrial revolution. The active participation of women in business life has brought along many positive and negative factors, as well. Women have met their own needs, have got rid of being dependent on men, have benefited from social security, and have been involved in social life in the positive sense, but on the other hand, they have faced many problems both in their business life and family life. These problems (especially on the basis of sex and gender) can be listed as the problems in education and vocational education, problems in employment, problems in the choice of profession and acquisition of profession, problems related to wages, problems related to benefiting from social security, problems related to promotion/advancement (glass ceiling) in the professional field, problems related to risky duties and positions assigned in crisis periods (glass cliff), reconciliation problems that cannot be achieved between family and business life, and of course, the problems such as the obstacles that the woman staff in the executive/senior position, who are the focus of our subject, have imposed on other women who are their own subordinates. Although it is assumed that sexist behaviors in business life are mostly caused by men, the fact that the women in senior management positions who are successful in male-dominated business environments affect their women subordinates negatively (in improvement, progress and advancement/promotion) and create problems for them has been reflected in the studies. This situation reflected has been included in the literature as queen bee syndrome. With queen bee syndrome, women in subordinate positions in business life have communication problems with women professionals at the senior level, and unfortunately, they cannot be supported sufficiently by them. The aim of this study was to reveal the problems faced by women in business life with their causes and results and to offer solution proposals by using the statistical data of other studies on the relevant issue and referring to the documentary observation.
