Self-regulated learning skill is an important skill that must be acquired in order to ensure learner autonomy and raise students who are responsible for their own learning, which is one of the important goals in the field of education, In English writing courses conducted through distance learning, there is not enough focus on these concepts and peer evaluation in which learner autonomy will be reinforced. In addition, the lack of a mixed method studies in which qualitative and quantitative research methods are used together in the field of English language education through distance education and the lack of studies on learner autonomy in English writing courses in distance education necessitate to carry out research on this issue. Self-regulated learning scale will be implemented to English preparatory school students in the sample to measure their self-regulated learning skills as well as the development of English writing skills. In addition, students will provide peer feedback to their peers' writing assignments during 15weeks using an error correction code and a scoring rubric. At the end of the process, students will be asked to evaluate English writing lessons and peer evaluation during distance learning through reflective journal and semi-structured online interviews. The qualitative data obtained will be analyzed using NVivo while the quantitative data will be analyzed using Jamovi.
